This BCIT course will develop building science knowledge and construction skills through in-class activities and self-directed online learning. The course will present building enclosure assemblies, construction methods, and solutions for managing control barriers with a focus on residential buildings (Part 9 Buildings). Students will develop their knowledge of building enclosure solutions to meet the BC Energy Step Code. The course is offered by BCIT's Zero Energy Buildings Learning Centre.
