Surrey-Langley BC Energy Step Code Builder Breakfast Forum
April 25, 2019 @ 7:30 am - 11:30 am
Mark your calendars for the City of Surrey’s next event in partnership with the Township of Langley, with the focus on Airtightness, a new core requirement of the BC Energy Step Code in Surrey.
Airtightness is an essential measure for meeting the requirements of the BC Energy Step Code, which have been adopted by many local governments and will be mandatory Province wide by 2022.
Join us for breakfast as local builders Larry Clay, of Clay Construction, and Nathan Stone, of Odessa Group, share their success stories with Building Step Code/Performance Homes. James Bourget of RDH Building Sciences will discuss air barriers and how to achieve Step Code level airtightness; and Small Planet Supply will offer a demonstration of their airtightness testing unit and provide more information on training opportunities.
