70% of the world’s GHG emissions come from cities and 53% of Toronto’s emissions are from buildings. We are at a critical stage where buildings need to be part of the solution while we move towards a fully functioning green building economy. How can we create buildings that are healthier, sustainable and affordable?
Join Chris Ballard, CEO of Passive House Canada, and Marine Sanchez, Senior Passive House Consultant for RDH Building Science, as they present one of the already proven solutions: Passive House buildings. They will deliver an introduction to Passive House for multi-family residential buildings, and their need for them within a broader urban planning context. They will also discuss the Toronto Green Building Standard version 3 and the Passive House standard as an approved compliance path to the highest tier, aiming at Net-Zero Ready buildings by 2030.
