Part 3 Energy Design Report Training

Description
The Part 3 Energy Design Report is a new voluntary Excel-based tool that can be used by energy modellers and design professionals as a checklist and submitted to local government authorities to verify compliance with the BC Energy Step Code. The tool gives industry and local authorities a consistent way to gather and review modelled energy performance characteristics of Part 3 Step Code buildings at both the pre-construction and as-built stages.
Learn more about the report in one of three free webinars:
- Two webinars will be held for users who complete the reports
- Enjoy a detailed explanation of the Part 3 report including the intent of the report, applicability, and method for completing each section of it
- Learn about the report process, including who should generate the reports and how and when the reports should be submitted
- Two completed example reports will be covered, one MURB, and one mixed-use building with office and retail space
- A tip sheet and a recorded version will be available if you miss one of the webinars
- One webinar will be held for local government officials who receive and review the reports
- Learn about the report process, including who should generate the reports and how and when the reports should be submitted to you and how to review them
