April 2 – BC Energy Step Code

Register today to learn more about the BC Energy Step Code – a new building code that comes in effect April 1, 2019 in Surrey. City staff have been preparing for the transition to a more energy efficient construction in Surrey by integrating measures into existing submission, permitting, and inspection processes.

This forum focuses on Surrey’s Step Code Requirements and working with Energy Advisors. The City of Surrey is inviting residential builders for both single and multi-family type projects to attend this information session to learn of the new processes, building permit forms and submissions with the Energy Step Code for Surrey projects.

The BC Energy Step Code requires builders to work with Energy Advisors and Einar Halbig, of E3 ECO GROUP, will discuss benefits and the process of working with Energy Advisors to build high energy-performance homes.

This is an interactive event providing attendees with an opportunity to meet and speak with local energy advisors to learn about how they can help you on your projects.
