Building Better with the Energy Step Code – Sechelt

Join the Community Energy Association and staff from the District of Sechelt, Town of Gibsons and Sunshine Coast Regional District to learn about building to the BC Energy Step Code – a new provincial framework aimed at creating healthier, more energy efficient, and more comfortable buildings.
This workshop is for builders and tradespeople, designers, and building officials. Attendees will earn 6.5 CPD credits (Group A) from BC Housing and are eligible for credits through the Building Officials Association of BC.
Overview
This workshop features presentations by Einar Halbig of E3 Eco Group as well as representatives from FortisBC. Staff from the District of Sechelt, Town of Gibsons and Sunshine Coast Regional District will be participating. In the afternoon, participants will experience a blower door demonstration.
The early bird rate is $158 for registrations until May 1. For registrations after this date, the fee is $175.
A continental breakfast, coffee break and buffet lunch are included.
