Building Better with the Energy Step Code Workshop – Squamish

The Community Energy Association and District of Squamish are hosting this workshop for builders and tradespeople, designers, and building officials to learn how to build to the BC Energy Step Code – a new provincial framework aimed at creating healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable buildings.
Attendees will earn 6.5 CPD credits (Group A) from BC Housing and are eligible for credits through the Building Officials Association of BC.
Overview
This workshop features presentations by Einar Halbig of E3 Eco Group as well as representatives of FortisBC and the District of Squamish. In the afternoon, participants will experience an airtightness demonstration.
The early bird rate is $158 for registrations until May 21. For registrations after this date, the fee is $175. CHBA and CEA members are eligible for 10% discounts.
A continental breakfast, coffee break and lunch are included.
